Welcome to the home of ABC Back to Basics. This is the place to learn more about our group of like-minded individuals interested in getting back to the basics in life and lifestyle.
The ABC in our name started out as a descriptor of our general area in Northern Idaho – Athol, Bayview, and Careywood. But as we brainstormed, it became apparent that referring to the ABCs was also a great way to lead to our goal of getting Back to the Basics.
When we talk about the basics, we refer to things that may not be common in today’s craziness. The goal of our group is to curate and nurture a lifestyle that isn’t always dependent on modern technology. Our ancestors provided for their families by using skills and knowledge passed down to them from previous generations. There is no reason that we can’t do the same by keeping these traditions alive and in use – they could even help keep us and our own families alive. Come grow and learn with us.
